Natasha Mabry Hanna grew up in the New River Valley nestled in the mountains of Radford, Virginia. She came to South Carolina to attend Coastal Carolina University where she graduated in 1994. She obtained her paralegal degree and worked in a law firm for five years. Having discovered a true love for the practice of law, Natasha then continued her education at the University of South Carolina School of Law where she graduated in 2002. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar that same year. Natasha is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Natasha clerked for Hearn, Brittain & Martin, P.A. during her second and third years of law school and joined the firm after she graduated. She practiced at the firm for eight years until its dissolution in 2010. The most logical next professional step was for Natasha to open her own law practice. She opened this firm in May 2010.
The focus of her practice is on civil litigation and criminal defense. Natasha handles criminal cases ranging from minor traffic citations on up to Murder and Death Penalty cases. Her cases have been featured on national television and she has been involved in numerous high-profile cases. She also handles a wide variety of civil litigation including business disputes, property disputes, automobile accidents, and wrongful death claims. Natasha also handles workers compensation claims and has done Social Security Disability for more than twenty years.
Natasha is actively involved in professional and community service having served as an officer and President of the Horry County Bar Association as well as being an instructor at Horry Georgetown Technical College. She has served on various committees within the South Carolina Bar most notably being appointed to the Citizens Committee for Judicial Qualifications. In 2009, Natasha was elected by the South Carolina Legislature to serve on the Board of Trustees for Coastal Carolina University. She was also appointed by Governor Haley in 2011 to serve as a Commissioner on the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education where she served for over four years..
Natasha resides in Conway, South Carolina with her husband and two sons. She is a member of Oceanview Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach and enjoys family time, boating, attempts at gourmet cooking and just enjoying each and every day.
